October 2009Cooldaddy Media designs the new book cover for the non-fiction account of a voyage, shipwreck and a journey of discovery on a lonely and little Island, Inagua, in the Bahamas. The book by Gilbert Klingel, chronicles the experiences of this island soujorn by Klingel and Wallace Coleman. (Okay, it is an inside job. There have been many printings of this book since the original 1930s printing but the new edition will feature my artwork because Wallace Coleman was Cooldaddy Media's, Stuart Coleman's Grandfather.) |
Fine Art of Cooldaddy Media
In addition to graphics produced using what almost seems a quaint expression now, desktop publishing, Cooldaddy's Stuart Coleman has completed over 30 paintings in a series called, Vistas. This series is acrylic on canvas with mitered pine frames. An onscreen Flash presentation is available for viewing as well as a downloadable PDF. Cooldaddy Media is currently submitting to galleries for a show, and while the early reviews are great, the venue is yet to be determined.
